Thoughts create emotions. Emotion dictates your vibration, your energy and that energy either attracts your desires to you or repels them. Those desires could be abundance, success, clients, a prosperous business, to travel the world, or freedom money. We all want to be able to make purchases without worrying whether or not we can afford it. We just want to feel good and money allows us to do that. In order to get the money, we have to have the right vibe and maintain the right emotional state. Are you emotionally abundant or emotionally broke? Your emotional state attracts your level of abundance. You have to feel emotionally abundant because when you lift that vibe up and you feel good all day, you’re manifesting from a place of abundance, confidence, and faith. When you’re manifesting from a place of emotional abundance, you’re going to get high vibe results.

Emotional Abundance: Making A Deposit Into Your Emotional Bank
Are you emotionally abundant or emotionally broke? That’s what we’re diving into. We talked so much about money on this show that I thought, “I’m going to take it around the back door.” We’re going to talk about how feeling financially broke is very similar to feeling emotionally broke and what we can do about it because your emotional state attracts your level of abundance. Thoughts are things. Thoughts create emotions.
Emotion dictates your vibration, your energy and that energy either attracts your desires to you or repels them. You want to know, “Am I repelling everything that I want? I want abundance. I want success. I want clients. I want a prosperous, fulfilling business. I want to be able to travel the world and go on fun adventures and not have to worry about leaving my business or not having the money to do it. I want freedom money. I want you to be able to make purchases without worrying whether or not I can.”
We don’t want to worry about whether we can afford it, we just want to do what feels good. Money allows us to do that. In order to get the money, we have to have the right vibe. We have to maintain the right emotional state. We have to know that we can do this, which means we have to be depositing more into our emotional bank account than we’re withdrawing. Imagine money, you have a bank account. Let’s talk about your checking account and that checking account is you’re making withdrawals all the time. You’re using your debit card, you’re paying bills online, you’re writing checks, and those are withdrawals.
Money is coming out to pay for life. In order for that money to come out, you have to put money in first in the form of deposits. If there are more deposits going in than there are withdrawals coming out, you have an abundance of money. You have more than enough. What does it feel like when you have more than enough money in your bank account? It feels good, does it not?
You have a sense of confidence. It’s a sense of comfort that comes from having that money there because you know that you can make decisions based on what feels good when there’s an abundance of money. The worry goes away, the stress goes away, the doubt goes away, doesn’t it? The more money that’s there, the more you can be yourself. Deep at your core, you’re a very generous human being. You want to make an impact. You want to give back.
You love the way that it feels to give, but it’s very difficult when you’re struggling to do that. It’s like, “I’m torn.” You’re torn emotionally between taking care of what you need to take care of and honoring your responsibilities and taking care of people that you love, in giving back and doing nice things. When there’s an abundance of money, you get to do both and you don’t have to choose between one or the other. You get to do everything.
I’m not saying that you have to do everything but the choice is yours. It’s a good feeling. We often think about what would happen if we won the lottery, if we were that $20 million crazy, big jackpot winner. What are all the wonderful things you could do with that money? Let that soak in. How good would that feel? Assuming you have the skills and means to handle the responsibility and manage it. We got your back if that happens. You win this and now you have this money and you have choices. You can do whatever you want. You could help people. You could start a charity, give back, pay off your sister’s house, go on vacation, send your kids to the best schools. We’re not going to get into the limiting beliefs and fears that come with that much money, but let’s tap into the good stuff.
It feels good versus being broke, which you may already be familiar with. Those emotions where you are constantly stuck in a thought pattern of, “I can’t afford it. I don’t have a choice.” You feel disempowered. You feel like your choices are dictated based on the amount that’s in your bank account and it’s very defeating and often, it’s exhausting.
You’ve been there where you’re trying to choose, “Can I invest in this in my business? I know that I want to but I don’t feel like the money is there. I know that I want to buy this thing or do this thing or move myself forward and there’s a light inside of me, a tug, a pull that’s telling me to do this, but I’m scared because there’s not enough money to choose everything. I have to make a choice,” and that’s scary. You’re taking a risk at that point when you’re choosing one thing over the other. If you’re choosing investing in your business over paying the mortgage next month, that is terrifying and I get it. I’ve been there.
You think about what this emotion does to you, how being financially broke is very limiting and very restricting. We’re going to move that same concept over to your emotional bank account. What you don’t realize is that every day you are making decisions and those decisions are either depositing energy into your emotional bank account or withdrawing energy from your emotional bank account. You wake up every morning with a certain amount of energy and that energy is meant to sustain your life force throughout the day. Every time you make a decision, you use a little bit of energy.
Every time you have a thought, you’re either using energy or you are replenishing energy. Did you know you could replenish your energy with your thoughts? Low vibration thoughts use more energy. They use up energy. High vibration thoughts fuel you with energy. Low vibration people drain your energy, high vibe people help you to replenish your energy because energy is always in a state of flux. It’s always moving constantly and things that feel good propel us. They fuel us. Things that feel bad take that energy away.
You’ve had plenty of days that you were exhausted halfway through and you were like, “I didn’t even do anything.” It’s not like you were climbing mountains or doing physical labor but all of the thoughts, all of the activities you were engaged in mentally drained you. By the time you get to dinner time and the kids are like, “Mom, what’s for dinner?” You’re like, “Are you freaking kidding me? I can’t even think about dinner right now. All I want to do is go to bed. I need to rest and replenish.” Think about what you did during that day. If you’re exhausted by 4:00, it’s not fueling you. You are not making deposits. You are making withdrawal after withdrawal, so by the time you get to 4:00, you are emotionally broke.
Imagine doing this every day. Some people do this every day for years and they don’t even realize they’re doing it. You replenish some of that energy while you sleep and you wake up and you have a fresh store, but sometimes you’re not starting at a level ten energy in the morning. You’ve been living in a state of lack for so long that even sleep doesn’t replenish you. I want you to think about how you’re spending your days. When I work with clients, we dig into what isn’t working.
So many people who follow the Law of Attraction and are all about positive thinking, they think that it’s healthy to avoid the negative. Don’t focus on what isn’t working. Don’t pay attention to that, ignore it and it will go away as long as you continue to focus on what is working, what does feel good, the positive aspects of your life and your business. I would love to say, “Try it. Go for it,” but I know better. It doesn’t work. You have to identify what isn’t working for you and stop doing it.
In business, you’re an entrepreneur and you’re spending a good portion of your day working on your business. You might have kids at home. You might be multitasking and juggling things, but your brain is still in business mode. You have a client that comes to you and asks you for something. Is your knee-jerk reaction to say yes? What about when somebody asks you to collaborate? Maybe you are in the online space and somebody comes to you and says, “I’ve got this program coming out. Will you come and be a mastermind bonus for me? Will you come and speak to my audience?” You say yes because in the back of your head you’re like, “This is publicity, this is exposure. I need all the exposure I can get right now.” As a result of saying yes, because you’re not prepared, you find yourself creating something new specifically for this purpose. The time and energy that it takes to do that takes away from your income generating activities that you could be working on.
You just got Squirrel Syndromed into working on marketing and publicity when you should have been working on income. Does that happen to you? It’s happened to me so many more times I can’t count, and you think I would learn after the first time. It took a long time for me to learn that was not the best use of my time. I learned it because I was exhausted. I was finding myself tired and burned out and overwhelmed and I’m like, “Why am I hustling? I’m working so hard and I’m not getting the return. What am I doing wrong?” I was questioning myself and my energetic bank account was seriously riding close to zero for a long time because I’m hustling and I’m engaging in these activities and they weren’t panning out so I’m like, “It must be me. I must not be good enough. Maybe this is a bad idea. Maybe I need to try harder. I need to learn more.” I found myself getting spread thin. I had no energy for my business.
That was just business. I was burnt out to that extent and then I would go home, which is walking out of my office and into my living room, but at the end of the day, I would try to switch gears from business to home life and I’m not present for my kids when I’m like that. I’m not listening to my husband when he talks about his day. I’m staring, I’m nodding, but all I’m thinking about is how tired I am and how all the things aren’t working and how am I going to fix this? I find that when I reflect on my day, I’m like, “That’s not happy. That’s not how I spend my life. That’s not how I want to spend the next fifteen years. I want to be present. I want to enjoy my journey. I want to feel good when I’m in the presence of the people that I love. I want to pay attention. I want to have a lot of good memories.” I know you do too.
It’s why you’re building this business because you went into this thinking, “If I build this business and I make enough money so that I don’t have to work a 9 to 5, then I will have that freedom that will allow me to have time with my kids, with my family, to go on vacations with them, to explore the world and to have fun and freedom in my life.” When you’re emotionally broke, you have no fun and freedom. You have a lot of anxiety and pain. How do we get rid of this? How do we flip the switch? You start making deposits into your emotional bank account. Energy deposits every day, all day long. Pay attention to what feels good for you, what feels good in your business and what doesn’t.
Why are you doing it? Are you ready to do this? Is this the right time? Timing is everything. If the time isn’t right, then it’s a no and no doesn’t mean no forever. It just means, “No, not right now.” It’s a matter of getting hyper focused and clear about what it is that you want to focus on now and focus on that one thing and get it done. What about just the way that you’re spending your day? What do you do in the morning? What is your morning routine like? Does it energize you? Does it fill you up? Does it feel good? Does it spark inspiration or are you automatically in go mode? Hustle mode, crazy mode from the minute you wake up and drink your cold coffee. Do you take time for yourself during the day? Do you take breaks to replenish your energy?
Maybe it’s a little bit of me time. Maybe you take a break at lunchtime and go for a walk in nature. Slow yourself down. Pay attention to the things that fill you up. Pay attention to the way that people in your life make you feel, the way the atmosphere, your environment makes you feel and notice the things that don’t feel good and start to change them. Start to eliminate the yucky feeling things from your life and fill your life with things that feel good, with activities that feel good with people that feel good, with decor in your house that feels good, with business activities that feel good with clients that feel good and pay attention. So many people when I talk to them, they don’t know it feels good because they’ve never stopped to check in and when you don’t know what feels good, I guarantee you you’re emotionally broke.
You’re so broke that you forgot how to tune in. I want you to feel emotionally abundant because when you lift that vibe up and you feel good all day, every day, now you’re manifesting from a place of abundance and confidence and faith. When you’re manifesting from a high vibe place, you’re going to get high vibe results. People try to make money from a place of lack. I don’t have it, so I want it. You’re low vibing, you’re emotionally spent, you’re broke both financially but emotionally. When you try to manifest from that place, it doesn’t work. You can’t get there from there. You can’t get rich from a place of emotional despair because what you’re vibrating out into the world, the message you’re sending is lack. The universe doesn’t respond to, “I don’t want.”
It’s helpful for you to pay attention to what you don’t want, but the universe, when you’re saying things in your head like, “I’m broke. I’m tired. I don’t feel good. I don’t have the energy. This isn’t working,” all those things, the universe doesn’t hear the first part of those sentences, those phrases because it speaks vibration, not words. The universe hears the vibration of broke, not enough tired, and it says, “We can do that. We can give you broke, not enough and tired. Sure,” and you get more of those things. If you want to change your predicament, change your outcome.
You have to start with changing what’s going on inside. You have to change the way you think and feel about yourself, the way you think and feel about money, the way you think and feel about your business, your family, your day, and start making emotional deposits into your bank account. Make sure you have more than enough energy, more than enough love, more than enough joy, more than enough inspiration. When you fill your days with those things, everything gets easier. You will have the energy to build the business and go after the goals and it attracts your desires to you. I promise.
Figure out what you don’t want. Pay attention. Keep a journal. Check in with yourself at various times throughout the day and make time for you. Start to fill your life with things that you do want. Take action and making this real. Don’t think about it. Don’t philosophize. Go out and make it happen. Declutter something. Get rid of something. Make a change, switch something in your calendar. Say no to something that doesn’t feel right and then celebrate the fact that you did it.
Do not worry about what the rest of the world thinks. They will get on board at some point. Don’t live your life for other people. Don’t live to please other people. Don’t live your life to seek approval and get validation because what ultimately matters at the end of the day is you. If you love yourself and you are proud of yourself and you can look in the mirror and go, “You are something. Good job,” then that is what ultimately matters.
